Intro to Bear Mountain Trails Project

Join us for an on-site tour of the Bear Mountain Trails Project and new Appalachian Trail route, with detailed explanations of the techniques and methods used. A great introduction to traditional stonework as it applies to technical trail construction! Volunteer and training opportunities for the upcoming season will also be covered. This orientation is mandatory for all following courses at Bear Mountain and volunteers interested in joining the Jolly Rovers roving stonework crew.
